Megaport Head Office Refurbishment
Megaport is an IT Network Hybrid Cloud Connectivity firm that delivers creativity and innovation in the tech industry, and the Fortitude Valley Head Office space reflects these brand tenets.
Leithal Designs was approached to undertake a refurbishment of the Head Office that would balance the need for expansion with the functional needs of employees whilst reflecting the client’s brand.
The core objectives for the client were to upgrade their current workspace to adapt to the growing business. Requirements included 40 additional workstations, dedicated quiet spaces, meeting rooms and a central collaboration zone for casual meetings and conversations.
The upgraded areas needed to blend with existing spaces, whilst uplifting the overall feel of the spaces. Principal and Director of Leithal Designs, Sonia Leith, was tasked with creating a warm and inviting environment for productive work whilst making the most of the available space.
Spaces were crafted to welcome innovation, collaboration, and creativity in thoughtfully designed spaces though strategic placement of clever aesthetic lighting, blending of flooring styles with existing carpet tiles and reworking spaces to flow seamlessly from reception through to the central open plan workspaces.
The reception area was upgraded to create a welcoming waiting area with modern joinery, warm lighting, comfortable seating, and touches of greenery adding a final uplift to a visitor’s first impression.
Stylish acoustic panelling in the fit-for-purpose meeting rooms and quiet spaces ensure privacy and space for reflection and quiet, while modern, comfortable seating, warm lighting features and touches of foliage invite conversation in the colourful collaboration zone.
Throughout the project, Leithal Designs rose to the challenge, creating a bespoke design that made. The result was a light, airy and modern refurbishment that is both functional and stylish – and perfectly matches the Megaport leadership team’s expectations.
