A designer’s role is broader than most people realise. When a designer manages a project, they ensure that every part of the process (and more) is handled to ensure that your significant investment of money, time and effort is safe and secure.

We’ll guide you through every step of the process using our proven values-based methodology and bring a level of aesthetic expertise to your fit out that most people don’t have. We’ll help you choose colours, textures, and finishes that will create a cohesive look for your project. Project Scoping and Analysis
The Project Scoping and Analysis occurs after our initial consult and is the first step in our journey together.
At this stage, we collect as much information as possible. This is where we gain an understanding of your goals, timeline, and budget; we also eliminate assumptions, conduct a feasibility study, identify project constraints, and find your best options. We’ll also visit the site to make sure we have a grounded understanding of the space.
We then send you a custom proposal including a project summary, recommendations, and outline the key deliverables for your project.

Concept and Schematic Designs
We start by researching and preparing concept imagery and initial drawings to help us get on the same page as far as what kind or style is desired before moving forward together into putting together your ideal build team.
We also conduct further research and analysis, ensuring compliance with building and safety regulations, local planning regulations and restrictions. There may be laws surrounding the preservation of the local environment or any historic parts of a building and we need to take into consideration.
At the conclusion of this phase, we present you with a detailed design concept, which fulfills all your brief’s requirements.
Design Development and Drawings
This is where the fun begins. We work closely together to translate your vision into a package of drawings and documents detailing the elements that make up the internal and external environments of your build.
This is used to guide cost planning and estimates for our scope of work. We are 100% transparent about our process and will keep you in the loop every step of the way. We’ll liaise with contractors and other tradespeople to get the best deals on materials and labour, with the goal of keeping within budget without sacrificing style or quality.
The outcome of this phase will allow a seamless transition into Construction Documentation.
Construction Documentation
Construction documentation refers to the drawings, plans and other information that is used to describe a construction project. This can include everything from the overall layout of the project, to detailed drawings of individual elements.
This documentation must be accurate and complete to avoid problems during construction.
